The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage in India covering four major Hindu shrines in Uttarakhand. These four sites are:

1. Yamunotri – Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, known for its hot springs and the origin of the Yamuna River.
2. Gangotri – The origin of the Ganges River and dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
3. Kedarnath – One of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, situated near the Mandakini River.
4. Badrinath – Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located along the Alaknanda River.​

Itinerary

Day 01 - Haridwar to Barkot

Arrival in Haridwar, proceed with your journey towards Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02 Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti. From here, begin your 6 km trek to Yamunotri (on foot or by hiring a pony or doli at your own cost). Upon arrival, take a holy dip in Surya Kund (hot spring), visit the Yamunotri Temple, and offer prayers at the sacred Divya Shila. Later, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot.

Day 03 Barkot to Uttarkashi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 04 Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Gangotri. En route, enjoy the picturesque views of Harshil Valley and the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, visit the Gangotri Temple and perform pooja. Later, return to Uttarkashi.

Day 05 Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the town.

Day 06 Guptkashi to Kedarnath

After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag. From there, take a local jeep to Gaurikund, the base for the Kedarnath trek. Begin your 22 km trek to Kedarnath, enjoying the stunning views en route. Upon arrival, visit Shri Kedarnath Temple.

Day 07 Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Wake up before dawn and attend the ‘Abhishek Pooja’ (on a direct payment basis) at Kedarnath Temple. After darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and take a local jeep to Sonprayag. From there, drive to your hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 08 Guptkashi to Pandukeshwar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pandukeshwar. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 09 Pandukeshwar - Badrinath - Pandukeshwar

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Visit the sacred Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Later, visit the famous Niti Mana village. In the evening, return to Pandukeshwar.

Day 10 Pandukeshwar to Haridwar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Haridwar. En route, visit the Dhari Devi Temple in Srinagar and witness the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers at Devprayag. Upon arrival in Haridwar, you will be dropped off at your designated location.

✖️ Travel Insurance and VIP Darshan
✖️ 5% GST Applicable on total billing

– 75% Refund – Cancellation made between 16 and 30 days before the tour date.
– 50% Refund – Cancellation made between 11 and 15 days before the tour date.
– No Refund – Cancellation made within 10 days of the tour date or in case of a no-show.

Tour Cancellation / Postponement

In the event of adverse weather conditions, natural calamities, government restrictions, local authority orders, road closures or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Sahyadri Trekkers reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify or cancel the tour. In such cases, refunds will not be applicable, as transportation, accommodation, permits, guides and other logistics are booked and arranged in advance. Participants may be offered an alternative date or credit towards a future event, subject to feasibility.
